C. spent several days last week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. Howard Waddell, returning home on Friday. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ned Conklin, daughters Kim and Chrissy of Manassas and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Waddell and sons Jesse and James Clifford of Langley Park, Md.

Mrs. Pillar Hostess For Bridge Group

Mrs. T. J. Pillar entertained at bridge on Friday night at. her home near Sperryville. Those playing were Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Edward Haggerty, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. R. E. Patzig, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Vlrs. R. E. Thompsen, and Mrs. Elmo Flynt. High scorers for bridge were Mrs. Kilby and “Mrs. Haggerty. Bingo was won by Mrs. Miller.

Father’s Day Dinner At Pullen Home

A Father’s Day Dinner was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Pullen in Amissville. Those attending included Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady and their house-guests Mrs. Richard Ridenour and two children Grace Ann and Rickey of Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brady and children, M. H, Brady, jr of Flint Hill, Mrs. Dorothy Corder of Huntly, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. McCulloch of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane and family of College Park, Md., Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett and family of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brady and son and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brady, all of Arlington.
