McCarthy of Arlington, a former classmate of Susan's at Radford College. Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown accompanied Mrs. Elizabeth Ragan and Donald Williams of Richmond on a fishing trip to Princess Kopslco Lodge at Erica, on the Potomac River. They were guests of Mr, and Mrs. Frank Poole and on Sunday they visited Stratford Hall, Wakefield, Arlington National Cemetery and Dulles Airport. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne recently returned from a visit with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Larry Warren and daughter, Catherine Lyne in Charlotte, N. C. The Lynes were also guests of Cdr. and Mrs. Laurence Thompson in Charleston, S. C, The Misses Mabel and Annie Hopkins of Washington, D. C. were visitors at their country home on Monday. Miss Ebba Hitt, a former resident of Sperryville, was in town on Saturday and visited friends. Roy Swindler who was a patient in Culpeper Memorial: Hospital for tests, returned to his home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Harrison who spent last week with the Rev. and Mrs. William Harrison returned to Richmond on Friday accompanied by Kevin who was an overnight guest and returned on Saturday with his parents. ’ Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland spent last week in Florida.
Miss Anne Dwyer spent the" ! weekend in Luray with Mr. and Mrs. Maywood Cornwell. Mrs. J. R. Shade and daughter, Susan of Falls Churchare spending this week with Mrs. D. M. Dwyer. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Kight and family were Sunday guests ;of Mrs. Betsey Harrell.
