The Rev. Fred E. Dufford, D. D., formerly of Luray, will be the speaker Sunday, July 30 for the Vesper Service at the Luray Singing Tower. He served the St. Mark Lutheran Parish from 1942 until 1947. Since that time he has been in Charleston Heights, S. C. The service will begin at 7:45 p. m. with a half hour of music on the bells by Carilloneur Charles T. Chapman. The devotional service follows at 8:15 p. m. Also featured will be the Student Nurses Chorus of the Norfolk General Hospital. This group is under the direction of Slater C. Mounts, who has announced that immediately following the devotional service his group will render a short program for all who wish to remainfor it. The Vesper Services are held every Sunday evening dur ing the summer at the Luray Singing Tower and the public is extended a cordial invitation to attend.
