Charles C. Sanders
Charles Carroll Sanders, 62 died Sunday, July 23, 1967 at his home in Louisa County, near Gordonsville.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Amissvllle Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Tony Layman, with burial in church cemetery in charge of Preddy's Funeral Home. A landscaper, Mr. Sanders was born March 17, 1905 in Prince William County, son of the late Walter Lee and Edith Cogley Sanders. He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Sylvia Reid Sanders and two sons, Charles jr. and Thomas G. Sanders, allofGor donsville; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Corbin, Montipelier Station; Mrs. Barbara |L. Williams, Amissville; and Mrs. Charlotte C. Kelley, Cul peper; one brother, Walter Lee Sanders, jr., Vienna; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Grill,; Long Island, N. Y.; and eight! grandchildren.
