residing just below the Estes home on the highway there in Sperryville. My birth name was Clatterbuck and here in lies the real reason for this correspondence. I have on a number of occasions endeavored to locate members of my family, however, due to military obligations it has been almost impossible for me to take the necessary leave time to personally pursue my search. I note in your news column the names Mr. and Mrs. Pete Clatterbuck and daughter Cindy, also Mrs. Venetia Clatterbuck. I wonder if by chance these could be some of my relatives. My family was broken up by my mothers death when I was quite young. I had two brothers, Roy and Harvey, also two sisters Anna and Mary. I have never heard from them since leaving Virginia, although I corresponded many times to what I thought was their address. As I say, my family was broken up, I lived with the Estes family for some two or three years as best I remember. My sister Anna was living with a family by the name of Hudson there in Sperryville, my sister Mary lived with an uncle Raymond Devers of Kimbal, Virginia My two older brothers worked in the area between Sperry ville and Washington.
