dress was pale yellow of Aline design with bell sleeves edged in lace. She wore a headpiece of daisies and carried a nosegay of daisies and baby’s breath. Sp/4 O’Neil Sheffield of Ft. Myer, a close friend of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The bride’s mother wore a two-piece dress of sky blue with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations. A reception followed the ceremony. Mrs. C. S. Shillingburg of Washington presided at the punch bowl and the wedding cake was served by Mrs. Louis Smedley of Washington, D. C. For her wedding trip Mrs. Slusser chose a suit of pink dotted swiss with matching accessories and the orchid lifted from her bridal bouquet. The couple now resides at 6608 Wakefield Drive in Alexandria. Mrs. Slusser is employed with the Department of Army in Washington. Mr. Slusser, who has completed two years of duty with the U. S. Army, is employed with VEPCO.
