hood athletic Idol was a “Tumpy" Clater from Sperryville. He could do anything better than most anyone else in my eyes. The name Flet. cher, I have associated that name with a Flour Mill, between Sperryville and Woodville. I use to go with Edward Estes to the Fletcher mills for flour for the two Estes stores, one located in Sperryville, just across the street from the Do-Drop Inn, the other store was at the Estes farm on the highway between Sperryville and Luray Ids difficult to explain how starved one becomes of news of old fridnds and boyhood associates. Should you be privi-' leged to render any information on these good people, or enlighten me in any way on members of my family, I would be most appreciative. I will retire from active mili tary service on 31 January 1968 and will be coming back to the states via New York and plan to spend at least thirty days in your area, seeking information on members of my family Would it be possible to meet and talk with you concerning same?
