The camp is maintained by the federated garden clubs throughout Virginia. It is open to both boys and girls. The Rap* pahannock County Garden Club gives a camp scholarship each year to delegates from the. county for half of their expenses. The youngsters attend classes in conservation and horticulture and are required to bring a report back to the sponsoring club. Camp activities include swimming and other recreation.
