The new hotel at Natural Bridge, Virginia was the scene Sunday, July 16th of a gathering of relatives and friends to honor Mrs. Ann Dudley Wood Corson, daughter of the late Captain John Dudley Wood, U. S. Army, of Rappahannock County and Mrs. Mary Robeson Pendleton of Blacksburg. Captain Wood was the brother of the former Miss Nellie Roberts Wood of Flint Hill, now of North Garden, Va. and of Brue J. Wood of Flint Hill and Char, les B. Wood of Blacksburg. Captain Wood lost his life in World War II shortly after the fall of Corregidor Island to the Japanese. Also honored at the family' gathering was the bride-elect of Charles William Oliver, son of the former Nellie Wood of Flint Hill. She is Miss Carol
