athletics, teen-age discussions and of course swimming. I played the part of a leprechaun in a skit put on by my tribe. The honor of keeping the campfire also fell upon me this year. Senior 4-H members participating learned how to serve better as junior leaders because of the many and various leader training opportunities provided in the program. Each camper attended through a partial scholarship given by Mr. Charles L. Horn, President of the Federal Cansridge Corporation in Minneapolis, Miss. The Rappahannock Farm Bureau furnished the remaining part to the 4H’ers from this county. State 4-H Conservation Camp is conducted each year by the Cooperative Extension Service of the VPI Extension Division. 4-H Club members between ages of 15-19 attended. In their home communities, they will put into practice the knowledge which they gained at camp about the wise use of natural and human resources. The spirit of Conservation Camp can be summed up in these words, “There is no limit to what the good man can do, if he does not care who' gets the credit."
