The Sperryville Fire truck was called Tuesday to extinguish a car fire at Gid Brown Hollow. On Sunday the Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Lee Swindler of Sperryville to M a r t h a Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

Flint Hill Fire Company responded to a fire at the farm of Herbert Foster early Thursday morning where a barn was destroyed. Amissville Rescue Squad was called Sunday to take Charles Settle of Viewtown to Winchester Memorial Hospital with a severe reaction from a bee sting sustained on Friday. Monday Clifford Nicholson was taken from home to a doctor’s office in Warrenton and returned home.
