Jeffries
James E. Jeffries of Amis& ville, 73, died August 16, 1967 at a Staufiton hospital following a lingering illness. Son of the late George Jeffries and the late Louise Jeffries, he was a native of Culpeper Court ty. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Mallory Jeffries, one son, Charles Jeffries of Centreville; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Bromstein of Silver Spring, Md.,' Mrs. Ben Owens Of Centreville and Mrs Walter Spicer of Amissville; and two brothers, Ernest Jeffries and Willie Jeffries, both of Amissville.
A funeral service was held August 19, 1967 at Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper with burial in Hillcrest Memory Gardens near Jeffersonton.

Mrs. Phyllis Morris returned to her home last Sunday from Doctors Hospital in Washington, D. C. where she had been a surgical patient for several days. She is improving satisfactorily. Visiting in the Morris home Sunday were Pat Whitlock of Vienna, Bill Davis of Alexandria, Mrs. Marvin Chace of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. Sam Stewart, and Mr. md Mrs. Richard Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Lewin Williams and son, Michael Ray, Mrs. Garfield Williams, and Mrs. Buster Mills were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Milbourn of Purcell/ille.
