It is hoped that a service can be developed for the community by providing an outlet for people who have items or collections of items they wish to sell. These can be purchased outright by the Corporation or be placed on consignment, or delivered for auction consignment. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this service may contact Mr. Carrigan or Mrs. Biddle. For the present the shop will be opened on weekends from ten to seven. There are many interesting items in the shop now, some of historic interest, some from noted families, and a fine selection of Asian art objects loaned by S. Kriger, Inc. of Washington, D. C. A finishing shop is to be addedas soonasa well trained craftsman can be secured.
