Hie Women of the Church of B ro mfield Parish in Rappahannock County are in the throes of last minute preparations for the Annual House Tour and Dried Flower Arrangement Sale to be held Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20.
Hie display and sale of the arrangements will be at the Parish Hall in Washington, Virginia. Three attractive and unique homes, which are decorated with these arrangements, will be open for viewing.
San Jacinta, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, is a lovely dormered-window story and a half plastered house, and is located on Route 522-211 between Washington and Sperryville.

Amissville Horseshow
Oct. 19 Has 27 Classes
A program with twenty-seven classes is planned for the Amissville Ruritan Club Horse Show which is scheduled for Saturday, October 19 at the carnival grounds. The opening class will be held at 9 a.m. and the show ground is located a mile west of Amissville on Route 211.
All entries will be taken at the entry booth the day of the horse show, and there will be no cross entering of English and Western Divisions.
Five championships are listed as follows: Small Pony, Large Pony, ' English Horse, Western Timed Events and Western* Working Events. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded for the championships and ribbons for reserve champions. Lunch will be available on the show grounds and there will be pony rides for children. Admission is $1 for adults and children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
