Box lunches will be for sale each day across from the Parish Hall parking lot by the Women ol Hie First Baptist Church oi Washington, Virginia. Saturday night the Ladies of the Baptist and Methodist Churches of Flint Hill will sponsor a buffet supper at the Flint Hill Fire Hall, starting at 5 p.m.
Tea will be served at San Jacinta both days of the tour.
Migrant Laborer Apprehended for Theft
Joseph Farrow, a migrant laborer, who was charged with the theft' of $100 from Hugh Grigsby of Flint Hill and fled the county, has been apprehended in Maryland. Hie crime occurred October 5.
Farrow was arrested by the deputy sheriff of Dorchester County, Maryland on a drunk driving charge and was using an alias. Knowing the laborer had worked in that area at one time, Trooper J. B. Willis made an inquiry of authorities there and found him. He is awaiting extradition to Virginia.
Achievement Night

Achievement Night for the Homemaker Clubs in Rappahannock County will be held Thursday, (tonight) October 17 at the Chester Gap fire hall. Hie program will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will include an exhibit by each dub:
Entertainment will be provided by 4-H’ers and a demonstration on covering buttons will be given by Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey. There will also be a demonstration on covering shoes with fabric. The ladies have achieved much in the past year and are eager to share their accomplishments with others. Come see and bring a friend.
Church Notice
Elder Donald Barnes of Athens, W. Va. will be holding services next week October 20 through 25 at the Five Forks Regular Baptist Church at Woodville. Each evening services start at 7:30. The public is invited to attend.
