Mrs. H. B. Wood, Sr., Mrs. John Board and son G. S. Board attended the funeral of Mrs. L. A. Dovel in Charlottesville Monday. Mrs. B. H. Patterson, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson had lunch together Monday at Graves Mountain Lodge, Syria. Mrs. Patterson left Tuesday to make her home at Goodwin House. She will be greatly missed. Her address will be Goodwin House, 4800 Fillmore Avenue, Alexandria, Va. 22311. Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cline in Fredericksburg.
