The eleventh birthday of Jeffrey Butler was celebrated with an overnight camp-out at Butler’s Mill and a dinner on Sunday with his grandmother Mrs. Amos Butler. Besides the honored guest those here for the occasion were his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler, his brother Philip, sister Alicia and friends Mark and John August, Bryan Wilson and Henry Kurosaky, all of McLean. Mrs. Butler’s guest Monday was Mrs. Joe Hawkins of Boston.
Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Winfrey, Jr. of Clifton Forge spent the weekend with his sister-in-law Mrs. H B. Winfrey. Additional guests on Sunday were Mrs. F. H. White, Miss Corinne White and Mrs. Thomas L. Cline of Culpeper.
On Saturday Mrs. J. H. Falls attended a luncheon meeting of the Executive Board of the Shiloh Missionary Societies at the home \ of Mrs. Lawton Blankenbaker in Haywood. Mr. and Mrs. Falls spent Sunday in Woodbridge with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Falls and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Smith and children of Luray and Melvin Gallahan of Fredericksburg visited Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clarke on Sunday.
Mr and Mrs. Oliver Faulkner of Amissville were Saturday supper guests of Mrs. Charlie Settle and Miss Edna Bayne. On Sunday the Faulkners returned to Mrs Settle’s for . dinner and to accompany Mr. and Mrs. Paul Grigsby to their home in Castleton. John Henry Woodward of Alexandria was also a Sunday dinner guest in the Settle home
