The writer has been accused of living in the past. That may be true to some extent. The moment we now enjoy will be past in a few seconds. The present is such a tenuous thing before we can think of it as such, it is past. We can not live in the future, so what is a person to do. Some poet has ■aid-‘the past is a wonderful place, we’ve buried our treasures there.’ Then Christ said that whereyour treasure is, there your heart will be also.
A gentle man told me the other day that I looked like a twenty year old. After a good HA HA, I told him that I didn’t think I would like to go back to that time, there had been some rough times in between. He agreed that 1 could be right but thought there had been some good times also. He was right. I’ve learned that his philosophy is, ‘it doesn’t require much effort to tell a little white one, but it sure can brighten up the day for some people.’ What is that about ‘angels unaware’?
