A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m Saturday from the Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Cornwell of Ladysmith officiating. Interment followed in the family section of the Washington Masonic cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Coleman Burke, Bobby Jenkins, Donnie Payne, Rodney Jenkins, Billy Smith, Gary Burke, Carl Burke and Roger Smith.
Geest Funeral Parlors were in charge.
