Golden Jenkins
John Golden Jenkins, 82, a native of Rappahannock County and a former resident of Washington, Va. died suddenly Wednesday, May 14, 1969, at the residence of his son, Lester 0. Jenkins and Mrs. Jenkins in Chester, where he had been residing since the death of his wife some years ago.
He was the son of the late Alfred Stuart Jenkins and Lucy Catherine Gearing Jenkins of Rappahannock County. He was married to the former Lena Gay Fincham of Washington. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Isaiah Burke of Berryville, Mrs. Frank Smith of Culpeper, Mrs. Warren Payne and Mrs. Charles Burke of Richmond; five sons, L. H. Jenkins of Washington, Va., Ennis B. Jenkins of Orange, Lester O. Jenkins of Chester, John R. Jenkins of Petersburg and James S. Jenkins of Marshall; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Kline of Fredericksbure: 37
