Pvt. E2 Lee Edward Keyser is spending a furlough at his home near Washington, Va. He entered the U. S. army on May 14, 1969 and underwent basic training at Fort Dix, N. J. After completing A.I.T. training at Fort Lewis, Washington he was granted a leave September 19. Pvt. Keyser, who is the son of Mrs. Nellie Mitchell, will return to Fort Lewis on October 6 for an assignment in Vietnam.

Mrs. Andrew W. Sisk, who had surgery at Culpeper Memorial Hospital, is recovering satisfactorily.

Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mrs. Jimmy Wayland and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr. attended the Institutional Food Show sponsored by Shenks in Winchester on Saturday.

Pvt. Charles E. Dodson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dodson, has completed his training with the U. S. Army Reserves at Fort Lee, Va. and is now employed by the Virginia State Dept, of Highways in Warren ton.

Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Willis and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gore had dinner at the Steak House in Charlottesville on Saturday night.

Last week Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr. and son Frank and Mrs. Pauline Eubank were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers in Flint Hill. Mrs. Eubank was an overnight guest.

Guests on Sunday of Mrs. Catherine Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Benny Brown and family of Winchester and Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown of Falls Church.

Miss Ruth Menefee had as her guests Monday Miss Ruth Moffett of Hyattsville, Md., Miss Alta Wamsley of Pennsylvania and Mrs. Tracy Thomett of Arlington.

Mrs. Perie Coffey, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rector of Marshall and James Nelson Rector of Richmond had dinner on Saturday night at the Caverns and Coach in Luray.
