Library Lines
ANNOUNCING - Your library is now open three days a week, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Friday hours will, we hope, make it convenient for those who cannot come on the other open days to take advantage of our varied collection-an exceptionally fine one for a small rural library. If you are not a library member-or if you have not been in recently to see the new books and recent additions which Fill gaps in our total collection-we encourage you to come and see.
Keeping in mind that we are a general and not a specialized library, and that our funds are limited and so must be used to purchase books of as wide an interest as possible, we solicit suggestions from our readers of specific items or types of books that you feel would add to the library’s service to the community.

Although these are older books, they are new to our collection and appear to be of continuing popular interest.
This Friday, October 17, at 8:00 p.m. in the library Chuck and Nan Perdue will present a j program of folk songs and will [demonstrate several instruments used in the early days of our | country which are now rarely seen. Mr. and Mrs. Perdue have sung on radio, TV, and in folk concerts. This promises an evening of fun and relaxation, and there is no admission charge. Come and hear your old favorites-and some which may be new to you. SEE YOU THERE!
