Miss Sharon Lee Stone, j daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walker j Stone of Woodville and Washington, D. C., became the , bride of Michael Sean Kilpatrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. James j Jackson Kilpatrick of Woodville | and Alexandria, on October 11, s 1969. The marriage was performed at two o’clock in the ] afternoon at Reynolds Memorial ' Baptist Church, Sperryville, with ] Dr. C. Franklyn Melton ] officiating.
Arrangements of white{ chrysanthemums decorated the< church and altar.
A program of nuptial music was presented by Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., organist.
Mr. Stone gave his daughter in marriage. Her formal gown was of white silk organza, designed with three quarter length sleeves and a full chapel train which was bordered in Alencon lace. She wore a mantilla of Brussels lace ahd Carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.
Mrs. David Allen Smith of Silver Spring, Md., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Her long gown of plum velvet, designed on Empire lines, was trimmed in silver and she carried white chrysanthemums.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. David Goodman, Centreville; Mis6 Barbara Traynor, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Kim Cannon, Springfield; and Miss Joyce Rhodes, Columbia, Md. Their long gowns were of sapphire blue velvet with silver trim and they also carried white chrysanthemums.
Allen Barringer of Richmond was best man, and ushers were Christopher and Kevin Kilpatrick of Woodville, brothers of the bridegroom, D. Allen Smith of Silver Spring, his brother-in-law, and Mitchell Reese of Richmond.
A reception was held at Hawthorn Farm, home of the bride’s parents at Woodville.
