A funeral service for John , Burnham Corder of Culpeper was leld Tuesday at Gourdvine 1 Baptist Church at Estes, 1 :onducted by the Rev. Gordon Seorge. Burial was in Fairview \ Demetery at Culpeper.
Mr. Corder, 92, died Saturday, ^ Dct. 11, 1969, at Mary' Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg. He was a native >f Rappahannock County, son of ;he late Daniel J. and Emma Adkins Corder. He operated a farm at Viewtown until 12 years igo when he retired and moved to Dulpeper. He was a member and leacon of Gourdvine Baptist Dhurch. His wife, the former Miss Martha Gore, died in 1964. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Grace Woodward of Falls Dhurch; one son, Milton L. border of Culpeper; two ;randc h il dre n and two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sliza Lilly of Newark, Ohio and )ne brother, Marvin Corder of Newark, Ohio.
