Guests during the weekend of Mrs. Catherine Brown were Benny Brown of Winchester, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown of Alexandria and Miss Shirley Brown of Bethesda, Md. Shirley and Julian Brown also visited the Rev. and Mrs. A. D. Goodson in Lawrenceville. Rev. Goodson is a former Methodist pastor of Rappahannock.

Dinner guests of Mrs. Clarice Clark at Graves Mountain Lodge on Sunday were Dr. and Mrs. Vernon Richards of Salisbury, Md. and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Rector of Atoka. Last Wednesday Mrs. Clark attended the funeral of Lance Reid in Orlean.

Mrs. Robert W. Brown was an overnight guest on Saturday of Mrs. Mary Hudson at Nethers.

Mrs. Delia Leake spent Sunday with her grandson, Robbie Leake and Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jenkins in Etlan.

Fred W. Schaefer spent the weekend in Baltimore, Md. with Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Sullivan and attended the World Series.

Those from Washington Masonic Lodge No. 78 who attended a luncheon given by Carl Hofer at his summer home near Sperryville were Carson Johnson, Harry Trescott, Gordon Thornhill, Cary Thornhill and T. A. O’Halloran.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Deal and son William were in Blacksburg for the weekend to visit their son Wayne and attended the Homecoming and the V.P.I.-Kentucky football game.
