W. C. Campbell
William Curtis Campbell, 79, of Washington, Va., retired farmer and contractor, and former chairman of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors died Saturday, October 10, 1969 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Mayes Dudley Campbell, Mr. Campbell is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John W. Paulson of Newport News; two grandchildren, John W. Paulson, jr. and Evelyn Dudley 1 Paulson, both of Newport News; ' four sisters, Mrs. Claude Evans of ' Richmond, Mrs. A. R. Gray of Wilkesboro, N.C., Mrs. John W. Willis of Williamton and Mrs. Silas E. Harland of Norfolk; and one 1 brother, Samuel C. Campbell of 1 Williamton. I
He was bom Nov. 9, 1889 in I Fluvanna County, son of the late Robert Samuel and Elizabeth 1 Haden Campbell.
He was a member of, Washington Baptist Church, Washington Masonic Lodge No. 78, AF and AM and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War I.
A funeral service was held j Monday at the Washington Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Warren Wilbur with Interment in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were E. M. Jones, D. D. Miller, Carson Johnson, Gibson Wharton, Amos Clark, Nelson Nethers, W. Arthur Miller, and W. F. Moffett, Jr.
