The Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred spent Saturday in Lynchburg and toured the flood area of Nelson County and Lovingston. Tuesday the Kindreds were in Richmond to visit Miss Marion Riley at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital.

The engagement has been announced of Miss Alice Juanita Jenkins, daughter oof Mrs. Lelia E. Jenkins of Woodville and Pete Reed Jenkins of Arlington, to Mac Elbert Nicholson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Nicholson of Woodville.
