Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers spent the weekend in Aurora W Va. with Mr. and Mrs. R.’ C. Polyard. They were joined there by Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Bolyard and family of Solon, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard and children of Keyser, W. Va. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Guessford of Williamsport, Md. spent the weekend in the Nethers home with Mr. Allen Lillard.
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr. were Mrs. Thelma Rom ine, Miss Karen Jones, James McGovern of Alexandria, James Nelson Rector of Richmond and Mrs. Perle Coffey.
Mrs. Clarice Clark spent last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Head in Charlottesville. Recent guests of Mrs. Clark were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stephans and daughter of Alexandria.
Mrs. J. B. Willis and sons Steve and Mike spent Saturday with their grandmother, Mrs. Grover Berry in Madison.
Weekend guests of the Rev. and Mrs. William Harrison and family were the Misses Nina Roberson and Margaret Sherman of Raleigh, N. C.
David and Michael Brown were weekend guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown, of Hamilton were in Blacksburg to attend the V.P. I.-Kentucky football game. Other weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr. and Margaret and J. Rodes Brown III of Tazewell. They were joined there by their other daughter Susan who is a freshman at Westhampton College. Mrs. Raymond Rector and son James Nelson Rector of Richmond were Friday visitors of Mrs. Perle Coffey. Mr. and Mrs. Cabell Powers of Arlington were overnight guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Mrs. Lee Thornton spent last week in Richmond attending a Public Health Nurses Convention.
