Mr. and Mis. Alii* Huff and sons war* In Silver Spring, Md Monday to visit Mr. and Mrs. T, W. Huff and son. Mr. and Mrs, Sidney Perry and Mr. and Mrs, Lawrence Perry and son of Culpeper were recent dinnei guests of the Huffs.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were guests from Friday until Monday of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs, Ashton Burke in Warrenton.
Mrs. William Kell was the guest last week of her son-in-law and daughter the Rev. and Mrs. William M. Hargett and family. She returned to her home in Millville, N. J. Sunday with Mr. Kell who spent the weekend at the Rectory. Other guests from Tuesday until Thursday of the Hargetts were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Forbeck of Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. L. J. Turner was a visitor during the week-end of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst in Richmond and Dr. and Mrs. John Turner in Chapel Hill, N. C.
Guy Burke is a patient in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital after being transferred from the University of Virginia Hospital.
Dr. and Mrs. Brooke Moffett and daughter Robin of Norfolk were Sunday dinner guests of Dr. Moffett’s mother Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett. The Moffetts had spent the week-end in Front Royal and visited Dr. Moffett’s uncle D. Jack Miller in the Winchester Memorial Hospital.
George Settle of Powhatan was a visitor Thursday and also on jSaturday of Miss Kate Walker. Mr. Settle was a guest of his sister in Luray. Other visitors of Miss Walker last week were Mrs. Henry Baxley and Mrs. Mason Carter of Hume.
Mr. and Mrs. Joel Dacgewitz of Woodville were visitors Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley and all had dinner at Joe’s Ocean Cove in Winchester. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and daughters of Orange were week-end guests of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher. Saturday evening guests were Miss Louise Fletcher of Westhampton College and Edward D. Taylor, II of Charlottesville. Miss Carter Moffett and her roommate Miss Jo Billings of Mary Washington College and Miss Marcy Pearson of Mary Baldwin College spent the week-end attending Mid-Winter
