Mitchell Green wa* In Winchester on Saturday and on Sunday to visit his wife who is a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Green underwent surgery yesterday.

Mrs. Odessa Flcklin has returned to her home after spending some time with her nephew Herbert Kellum and Mrs. Kellum in Maryland.

Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne were visitors Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. John Peck and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Peck gt Spotsylvania.

Mr. and Mrs. John Early recently attended the Carpet Mart in Atlanta, Ga. for three days selecting new merchandise for their carpet service here.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Rowzie attended the firemens banquet Monday night in Madison. George Kidwell is a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton where he has undergone surgery this week. He was visited Saturday by Mrs. Kidwell and Mrs. A. C. Latham.

Capt. and Mrs. F. Robert. Armentrout Jr. nd daughter Shelly left Monday from Dulles Airport for Anchorage, Alaska where Capt. Armentrout will resume his duties at Elmendorf AFB after spending several weeks in this area. They were guests of Mrs. Armentrout’s parents Mr. and Mrs. J. Richard Latham at Horner Hill Farm and of Mrs. Frank R. Armentrout, his mother, in Front Royal.
