One of the emphasis of our public education program is urging yearly examinations, he explained.
“Everybody needs a health check-up at least once a year. To guard against TB, see that yours includes a tuberculin test or chest X-ray. Some ailments reveal no early symptoms”, said Mr. Raflo. “The more delay, the worse the disease. That’s why regular health check-ups are important.” Health posters and leaflets carrying this message were distributed to 90 industries in the area this week.
