RCHS Annual
Sweetheart Dance
The annual Sweetheart Dance at Rappahannock County High School is scheduled this year for Friday, February 20 from 8 until 11 p.tn. The dance is sponsored by the school S. C. A. The highlight of the evening will be the crowning of the "Sweetheart Queen of 1970”.
There are three candidates for queen chosen from the senior class and an attendant from each of the other four grades. Candidates for the honor position are Susan Fox, Amy Palmer and Sandra Payne. The selection will be made by popular vote of the entire school, but the winner will not be announced until the ^ evening of the dance.
Attendants already selected are Jeanne St. Clair, eighth grade; Cil Davis, ninth grade; Mary Lynn Smelley, tenth grade and Joan F| Kay Welch, eleventh.
4 Music for the dance will be i| provided by "Brutus and the Roamin’s” and refreshments will be served. The Sweetheart will be crowned between 9:15 and 9:80.
