Fur and Fake Fur and Washable Woolens This year, 1 have noticed a number of persons wearing fur and fake fur coats, more so than before. The proper care of these is important, especially when considering the cost of the item. Therefore, it deserves extra attention, so it will continue to look like new, and wear well in seasons to come. Always brush the areas where the fur is sat upon or pressed down. Avoid friction. Avoid setting on a coat whenever possible. And -- a final fur care tip - after exposure to rain, snow or dust, a fur garment should be given a thorough shaking. And when it’s thoroughly dry, it should be gently brushed.
