Thursday the House Privilege! and Elections Committee defeated the constitutional amendments known as th< Aldhizer Amendment, which would permit the legislature tc establish the boundaries of the City of Richmond every ter years, and the amendment which would permit State funds to be used in private schools for the retarded children. These twe amendments have not beer considered by the Senate, but il they are passed there then it wil be necessary for a joint committee to meet and determim the action to be taken.
