Mr. and Mia, George H. Davis, Jr. returned home Sunday night from a ten day plane trip to Peru and other points of interest.
Mr. and Mrs. Cary Neblett of Baltimore were Tuesday night guests of Mrs. C. B. Palmer. Visiting her during the week-end were her son AQ3 David Palmer of Oceana Naval Air Station and Miss Barbara Corbett of VCU.
Visitors on Thursday of Miss Annie Cooksey were Mrs. Ethel Cooksey and Mrs. A. C. Latham of Amiwville.
Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. was the overnight guest Friday of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Eastham at Red Hill Farm. Mrs. T. C. Lea was a guest Sunday of Mrs. Massie.
Tayloe - Fletcher
Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher of S perry ville announce the engagement of their daughter, Louise Miller, to Edward Dickinson Tayloe, II, son of Mrs. E. Thornton Tayloe of Charlottesville, formerly of Norfolk, and the late Mr. Tayloe.
Miss Fletcher was graduated from Abbot Academy and attends Westhampton College.
Mr. Tayloe plans to return to East Carolina University after having been discharged from the U. S. Army where he served with Special Forces in Vietnam. A June wedding is planned.

Mrs. Charles H. Estes entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday night at her home, Rosewood. Those playing were Mrs. Cosie SuiUvan, Mrs. Edward Haggerty, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs/Roy Reeve, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. Henry Keyser, Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, and Mrs. E. A. Me Near. Mrs. Mary Quaintance was high scorer with Mrs. Flynt second and Bingo was given to Mrs. McNear.

Airman Latham is an aircraft mechanic with the 458th Tactical Airlift Squadron, a unit of the Pacific Air Forces, headquarters for air operations in Southeast Asia, the Far East and the Pacific area. He previously served at McGuire AFB, N. J.
The airman is a 1966 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, Washington, Va. His wife, Connie, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin S. Johnston of Huddleston, Va.
