High lighting the evening was the presentation of a check for $2,500 from the Auxiliary to the Amissville fire and rescue organizations. Mrs. Alice Hitt, vice president of the auxiliary made the presentation.
James Bromfield, Director of Instruction for Fauquier County, was guest speaker, with a short, timely talk on Bench Marks, Trademarks and Landmarks.
A healthy hand of applause was forthcoming to the ladies for the excellent food and service and the group sang Good Night Ladies before being dismissed with the Benediction by the Rev. W. A Layman.
