This week the students are busy preparing for the SCA elections. Each candidate has been making posters and signs, so the student! will recognize the positions which they seek. For President the candidates are: Buck Payne, Brenda Prints and Lois Yates; for Secretary - Cil Davis, and Mauri Raney; for Vice-President: Deborah Barron and mi Kilby; for Treasurer: Cassie Frye, Carolyn Glascock, David Thornhill, and Curtis Williams; for Reporter: Nina Bailey and Chris Fox. Next week the students will vote by ballot for the student who they feel will best carry out each position. The candidates will have an opportunity to present their views prior to the election. Lots of luck to each candidate. School will dismiss on Thursday for the Easter Holiday. Ike holiday will last through Monday, March 30. The Chorus class will present a program for the student body for general entertainment, that will be hopefully educational! Congratulations to the winners of the basketball game that was held Friday night at the high school. The mighty Senior girls Were victorious over the women faculty with a score of 25-21. The Senior boys played well, but the teachers had a big advantage of height over the boys. The score for that game was 48-30 in favor of the teachers. For the people who are fond of entertainment, Mrs. Blauvelt is selling tickets for the “Follies” which will be held at Warren County High School.
