Steven Alther, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther, has entered military service and left Thursday for basic training at Fort Campbell. Mrs. J. B. Perkins and grandchildren Cindy and Doug Cumins visited Mrs. Addle Perkins over the weekend in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. O'Brien in McLean. Visitors Sunday of Mrs. Della B. Howard were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gardner of Johnson City, Tenn. Mrs. Howard returned with them for a week’s visit.
