Visitors last week of Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Miss Ruth Menefee were Mrs. John R. Hudson of Luray and Mrs. E. M. Mathews and daughter Susan and I Mr. and Mrs- Fielding Lewis of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins, who spent the winter in Florida, returned home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Codding and son Hayden of Centreville were their guests over the weekend. Mrs. Perle Coffey, Mrs. Virginia Lewis and James Ashby attended funeral services for Mrs. Herbert Ashby on Tuesday in Warrenton. They also visited Bryant Ashby in Fauquier Hospital.

Guests during the weekend of Mrs. Sam Dvtyer and family were Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Beatty of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Keyser and family of Winchester. Mrs. D. M. Dwyer returned to Winchester with the Keysers for a visit.

Fred W. Schaefer and son Freddie, Sammy Dwyer and Michael Nethers were in Washington, D. C. on Saturday to attend the Ringling Bros., Bamum and Bailey Circus.

Mrs. Betsey Harrel of Silver Spring, Md. is visiting Mrs. R. B. Updike. Mr. and Mrs. Buriee Frazier and family of Augusta, Ga. visited friends in the community on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jacobs and son Ricky of Warrenton and Mis. Gordon Payne of Madison were Friday dinner and overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and Freddie. J. Rodes Brown, Jr. and son Rodes III of Tazewell and Susan Brown of Westhampton College were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Additional Sunday dinner guests were Major •And Mrs. Paul Thompson and daughter Ann Rodes of Fork Union, Mjr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and three sons of Hamilton and Mrs. Lee Thornton* Jdck Brown of Woodvllle was an afternoon caller. . Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Feehan Of Portland, Maine were houaeguests last week of Mrs. Harald Havstad and son Peter. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard and fiunily of Keyser, W.
