Sperry ville Rescue | Elects Officers
The Sperryville Rescue Squad, Inc. is one year old, and in that year much activity has taken place. An equipped ambulance has been purchased and the squad began active operation on February 25, 1970. Since that date the squad has responded to nine calls.
At the regular meeting of this group Monday night new officers were elected for 1970 and are: president, Donald Gore; 1st vice president, Old Ctyter; 2nd vM* president, Wilson Burke; ist sgt., Charles Dodson; 2nd sgt. Cletua Clarke; secretary, Marie Jenkins; treasurer, Charles Sisk; medical advisers, Dr. J. P. Snead and J. B. Willis; legal adviser, J. W. Fletcher; chaplain, Rev. William Harrison; directors, Ian Pryde, Thomas Baldwin, R. P. Anderson, Donald Gore, Marie Jenkins and Charles Sisk.
The Sperryville Rescue Squad still needs funds to decrease the indebtedness for the initial expenses including the purchase of the ambulance and for operational expenses. Checks may be made payable to the Sperryville Rescue Squad and sent to Charles Sisk, Treas., Sperryville, Va.
