Mrs. Nina B. Brown is spending this week in Front Royal with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Bruce. Phil Hawkins returned to Chowan College, N.C. on Sunday after spending several days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins. Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Jr. of Richmond visited friends here Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Brown were in Washington, D.C. on Saturday and attended a dinner at the Washington-Hilton sponsored by the Ford Company. During their absence Miss Laura Lee Goff of Brandy stayed with the Brown children.
