Betty Coates preferred a request that about a half mile of road be taken into the secondary system in the Sperry ville area and Supervisor Foster related a complaint of J. W. Dawson for widening of Route 662 near Huntly. Chairman Newbill Miller noted a request for grading and ditching on Route 627 and Supervisor Wilbur asked that attention be given the widening of the bridge on Route 707 in the Slate Mills area. This concluded the discussion on the secondary system.
Howard Banks inquired into the plans for the dual laning of Route 211 through Amissville and was told by Mr. Skeens that purchase of a right of way for this to the Culpeper County line has been authorized and some work had begun in that direction, however no funds have been allocated for any construction in this area.
