The 1970 Fund Drive is still underway. If you’d like to become a “Friend of the Library” and didn’t receive a letter inviting you to contribute, please understand that the omission is certainly unintentional (!) and your help in any amount will be very welcome.
If you have not been using the library you are surely overlooking one way of saving money. For its size, the collection is one of the jjiostJvaxied; t,hi> the comment of many visitors who aK< surprised at the diversity of tye books available. With the cost 6f a new book running from $5 to
$10, funds are needed loj purchase new issues, but think how much more it would cost for each individual to buy as many books to keep up with the latest reading. Your library is a community service available to every one in the county. Make use of it • it’s free!
Library Hours: Wednesday and Friday, 1 to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Children’s Hour: Saturday, 10 to 11 a.m.
