Guests for several days of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Scott and daughter were Charlie Scott and Clavin Clay of Fredericksburg. Their guests Sunday were Miss Brenda Dennis and Mrs. Everett Smi(h and children of Amissville, Charles Hitt and Eldridge Grigsby. Mrs. Horace Scott recently entertained with a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Brenda Dennis whose marriage to Charles Hitt will take place this month. A large group attended and the bride-elect received many gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Smith and Janice were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Woodward and family in Warrenton.
