A record number of fiihlng enthusiasts lined the banks of the streams in Rappahannock County Saturday awaiting the 12 noon opening of the 1970 trout fishing season. Men, women and children of all ages could be seen apparently enjoying themselves in spite of the over cast sides and somewhat chilly weather. Many fishermen got the limit of eight though the water was high and swift from the recent rains. Since opening day there continues to be much activity on the streams.
