Del. Gibb Speaker for N. Va. Health Meet
The Honorable Duncan C. Gibb, member of the House of Delegates to the General Assembly, will speak on legislation in the 1970 General Assembly and Community health at the seventh annual meeting of the Tuberculosis and Health Association of Northern Virginia.
The 8-county dinner meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at The Farm Restaurant, located at “Waterloo”, two miles west of Boyce at the intersection of routes 50,17 and 340.
Delegate Gibb received his law degree from the University of Virginia and served in the navy in World War II. He is past president of the Front Royal Rotary Club and, Parents Association of Randolph Macon; is currently serving as president of the Warren Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees. Mr. Gibb holds membership in Calvary Episcopal Church, Virginia State Bar Association, Virginia State Bar, local Chamber of Commerce and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He is a practicing attorney in Front Royal and was elected to the House of Delegates in 1969 to represent Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren Counties.
President Frank Raflo, of Leesburg, will preside and present volunteer awards.
