Some farm program payment drafts are already being received in the Rappahannock County ASCS Office for issuance to producers on June 1, according to H. S. Barksdale, Chairman of the Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee.
By the end of May, over 10,000 data sheets had been processed in the ASCS computer center in New Orleans for the State of Virginia. We anticipate that about 50 thousand data sheets are to be submitted and processed, most of which will be submitted before June 1.
