Saratoga for a six month’s tour of duty in the Mediterranean. Judge and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Frank and Carter Moffett accompanied Ensign Page Moffett to National Airport on Sunday where he left for Newport, R. I. Enroute to the airport the Moffett family visited Mrs. Moffett’s parents, the Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton at Springfield. Dr. and Mrs. Ned Hopkins and family of Norfolk and Rudasill’s Mill were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller at Millermead. Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller, Jr. and family of Fairfax were the weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Miller. D. D. Miller, III stayed on for a visit in the Miller home. Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were Saturday guests at a barbecue and swimming party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Vincent at Sleepy Hollow Woods, Annandale.
