A funeral service for Mrs. Mamie B. Wampler Harris of Verona was held Tuesday from Middle River Church of the Brethren conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Fred A. Driver. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Harris, 94, widow of W. M. Harris died June 14, 1970 in the Covington Hospital, Covington.
She was bom in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Samuel F. and Mollie Grove Wampler.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cecil W. Coffman of Staunton and Mrs. G. C. Cosden of Sperryville; a half-brother, A. L. Wampler of Luray; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
