Mr. Jamieson is president of DuPont, Glore Forgan Municipals, Inc.; the municipals division of the third largest investment banking firm in the nation, with main offices throughout the United States and abroad. He has been in securities since 1923 and is the son of a Scottish father, who came to Chicago from Greenock, Scotland. As well as experience in bond securities, he has participated in corporate securities in the marketing of such nationally known industrial securities as Schlitz breweries; Standard Financial; Borg-Warner; Libby, McNeil and Libby; and National Distillers.
In his municipal activities he originated the financing at O’Hare Airport in Chicago; Illinois Toll Road; Florida Turnpike, Greater New Orleans Expressway and Massachusetts Port Authority, among scores of others. (
Mr. Jamieson currently divides his time each week between No. 1 Wall Street in New York City, 135 La Salle St. in Chicago and Sperryville, Virginia.
